Effective glucose monitoring at home requires an effective glucose monitor and that’s exactly what makes Bayer a popular brand. In a survey conducted by J. D. Power, Bayer was ranked highest for glucose meter satisfaction.
Case Study. Most Searched Phrases Related to Bayer Glucose Monitoring Systems in 2015
In a previous case study aimed to determine the most popular test strip, we looked at the search traffic for phrases related to brand name test strips in 2015. The results showed that Bayer test strips are among the most popular test strips. Perhaps the popularity of Bayer test strips is owing to the reliability and performance of Bayer glucose monitors.
To get an insight into different glucose monitoring systems manufactured by Bayer and to determine which model is most popular, we conducted another case study by looking at the search traffic for phrases related to Bayer glucose monitoring systems in 2015.

Findings
1. Bayer Contour showed the highest number of search traffic.
2. Bayer Breeze 2 appeared to be the least searched model of the Bayer glucose monitoring systems.
3. Bayer Contour Next and its derivatives (ex. Contour Next EZ, Contour Next USB, and Contour Next Link) appeared to have the highest total number of searches.
Conclusion
Bayer Contour and Bayer Contour Next glucose monitoring system appear to be the most searched glucose monitors manufactured by Bayer. Although the phrase “Bayer Contour” had the most traffic, Bayer Contour Next (including its derivatives USB, EZ, or Link) appeared to have the highest number of total searches, making them the leading brand for glucose monitors among Bayer users.
Lastly, the results clearly showed that Bayer Breeze 2 is the least popular brand of Bayer glucose monitoring systems. The results are consistent with our previous case study about the popularity of Bayer test strips that showed Bayer Breeze 2 were the the least favorite Bayer test strips in 2015.
