Made in USAImportant Update: Discontinuation of FreeStyle Libre 2 & Libre 3 Sensors

Earlier this earlier, Abbott announced that the FreeStyle Libre 2 and FreeStyle Libre 3 sensors will be discontinued by the end of September 2025. In their place, the company is rolling out the next generation of CGM technology: the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus and FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensors.
To ensure uninterrupted monitoring all current users of the Libre 2 or Libre 3 systems are encouraged to transition to the “Plus” model.
What This Means for You
If you’re currently using Libre 2 or Libre 3 sensors, you will need to request a new prescription for either the FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus or FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus sensor to ensure uninterrupted access to continuous glucose monitoring. Users already equipped with Plus models may continue without interruption—no action is needed.

Why Act Soon?
The official discontinuation date is September 30, 2025, but we strongly encourage early transition to ensure seamless continuity. Abbott has begun ramping down inventory for these legacy SKUs, so delays or out-of-stocks may occur if transition is not done on time.
