LifeScan, the manufacturer of OneTouch glucose monitoring systems, has recently introduced a new technology that they claim will eliminate the guesswork out of interpreting glucose test results.

New

OneTouch Verio Flex incorporates a simple color range indicator that tells patients when their blood glucose readings are “low, blue,” “in range, green” or “high, red.” This simple indicator allows users to quickly interpret their glucose readings. Furthermore, users can ultilize the meter’s built-in Bluetooth Smart Technology to wirelessly connect with the companion OneTouch Reveal mobile app. Via bluetooth, users can easily transfer and store their readings to their phones so they can manage their blood glucose on-the-go as well as at home.

OneTouch Verio Flex features a compact, slim design that makes carrying and testing easier for users, especially for those who are always on-the-go. Lastly, the low and high range limits set in the OneTouch Verio Flex can be customized for each user according to their healthcare professional’s recommendations.

OneTouch Verio Flex color technology offers a quick indication to users who just want to know if they’re in range. Users then have the option to send their results to their mobile for key insights and information.

Currently, there are an estimated 29 million people battling with diabetes in the United States and many don’t test their blood sugar regularly or as recommended by their healthcare professional. OneTouch Verio Felx provides a simple and effective solution to glucose monitoring at home or on-the-go, offering individuals with diabetes an easy to understand glucose testing experience.
