We are all guilty of setting new year’s resolutions and gradually neglecting them. You know… try hard to keep your goals (whatever they may be) for a few weeks, then slowly all ambition dwindles until you’re back at square one.
Have you ever wondered why? I have, and what I deduced is that I am simply setting my resolution goals too high.
Every January 1st, I find myself with the new onslaught of gym-goers trying to “Lose 10 pounds for a healthier new year.” Of course everything starts out great, BUT quickly I return to my mornings of sleeping in or evenings of popcorn and TV. Soon I’m back in my normal routine and dealing with the frustration and disappointment of failing at my resolution once again.
This year though, I am setting some realistic goals that might really help make a difference in my health; something that would help me manage my diabetes better. If this works out, next year I’ll set my goals higher.
I’m Getting Organized!
I realized, battling with diabetes, I have a ton of supplies that are often hard to manage.
