ACCU‑CHEK Fastclix lancets are high precision components that are produced to the close tolerances required for satisfactory operation with the ACCU‑CHEK Fastclix lancing device. The ACCU‑CHEK Fastclix comes with preloaded drums containing sterile lancets. For virtually pain-free testing, use a new, sterile Accu Chek Fast Clix lancet after each test.

Important! Your Accu-Chek FastClix requires very little care _ Keep your AccuChek FastClix lancets away from extreme temperatures. _ Do not dip the Accu-Chek FastClix lancet in liquid. For safety reasons, do not reuse Accu-Chek FastClix lancets. Further more a used FastClix drum cannot be reinserted into the lancing device. In rare instances, if a used drum is dropped on a hard surface, the Accu-Chek FastClix lancets may protrude slightly from the drum. If you drop a drum, always pick it up at the re-dstriped end. A blood sample for glucose testing can be obtained not only from the fingertips but also from other sites (the palm, the forearm, the upper arm, the calf or the thigh), which is commonly referred to as alternative site testing (AST). Palm as the non-fingertip test site is always recommended when using the Accu-Chek Fastclix lancet system. Use the clear ACCU‑CHEK Fast Clix AST cap together with the ACCU‑CHEK Fastclix lancing device to collect blood from non-fingertip test sites.
