Nova Max Ketone Test Strips are designed for use with the Nova Max Plus monitor. One box of ketone strips contains 2 vials, each with 5 test strips. Unopened Nova ketone test strips provide a 2-year shelf life from the date of manufacture. Strips can be stored in the Nova Max Plus carrying case so that ketone strips are always available.

New Nova Max Ketone Test Strips are packaged in a box containing 10 individually wrapped blood ketone test strips. The foil wrapped test strips are designed to be carried in your Nova Max Plus glucose meter case. The ADA recommends that blood ketone testing should be performed on sick days and whenever glucose values are greater than 250 mg/dL. Blood ketone measurements can often be done on same finger stick as glucose testing. A pamphlet explaining ketone test results is included in each test strip box.
