Applying the Libre 3 Sensor
Applying the sensor is surprisingly easy. By following just a few easy steps you will be on your way to begin monitoring your glucose levels with the Libre 3 sensor system!
- Wash, Clean, and Dry: Select a site on the back of your upper arm. Clean the skin with non-moisturizing, fragrance-free soap and water. Use an alcohol wipe to remove any oily residue and let air dry.
- Open Applicator: Unscrew cap from applicator and place sensor over the back of your upper arm.
WARNING! DO NOT PUT CAP BACK ON AS IT MAY DAMAGE THE SENSOR.
- Apply: To apply the sensor, press firmly and listen for the click. Pull back slowly after a few seconds.

Setting up and Obtaining Readings with the Libre 3 Sensor and iPhone
To use the Libre 3 Sensor with iPhone, first install the official Libre 3 app from the appstore. Upon launching the app, a prompt will appear to connect the device. This video walks you through the process:
How Often to Change the Libre 3 Sensor
Each wearable Libre 3 sensor is good for 14 days of use upon application. After 14 days have passed the sensor will no longer provide a reading and will need to be changed. Order the Libre 3 Sensor with Auto-ship to Avoid Running Out.

Do I need the Libre 3 Reader?
Each Libre 3 Sensor will work with either the “optional” reader, or a paired smartphone through the Libre 3 iPhone app. You must have a Libre 3 reader or a compatible smartphone to receive the readings that the sensor collects.

Really good products and site to use, haven’t had a problem
I was initially nervous about how to apply the sensor, if it would actually stay on for the 2 weeks, and how painful it would be to apply/remove. Application is painless, and I’m only on my 3rd one now but so far I’ve had no issues. It is amazing being able to know your glucose level at the push of a button (I use the reader, not the app.)
I was very impressed with how easy it was to apply the sensor, and I’ve had no trouble with it coming loose or anything. I was nervous about putting it on (this was my first time), but everything worked well.
I love this freestyle libre 3. I no longer have to pull out my phone to check and can check the app. Arrived quickly and easy to install and use. It is so small I don’t knock it off like the others.
Very expensive for 14 days without insurance cover. It must be cheaper..In the other hands I don’t have to use the hands, I don’t have to use the needle on my fingers.
